Christmas at Prenton Prep

Christmas at Prenton Prep is always a magical and joyous time for everyone, and this year was no exception! The festive season was packed with exciting activities, performances, and celebrations that brought smiles to all.

The Foundation Stage and Infants delighted us with their wonderful Christmas Nativity performances, Away in a Manger and Everyone Loves a Baby. The children worked hard to bring the Christmas story to life, and their efforts were truly heartwarming.

Our Head Girl, Head Boy, and Deputies enjoyed their annual trip to Church Farm to pick out the perfect Christmas tree for the school. Once back at school the Year 6 class took on the important task of decorating it beautifully.

The PPSPA Christmas Fair was, as always, a resounding success. The event brought the school community together, filled with festive cheer, fun activities, and lots of holiday spirit.

Year 2 had a memorable visit to Trinity and Palm Grove Church for the Hope Journey Nativity. They learnt about the story of the nativity and enjoyed a hands-on craft activity.

We were also proud to be the community partner for ParentFolk’s Father Christmas Storytelling experience at the Startyard. This fantastic event ran weekly throughout December, spreading holiday magic to families. If you haven’t attended a ParentFolk event yet, we highly recommend booking one!

Classroom Christmas parties brought joy to all year groups, with plenty of games, treats, and festive fun. Nursery and Kindergarten enjoyed their annual trip to Gordale Christmas Grotto, where they met Santa and experienced the magic of the season.

The juniors held a beautiful Carol Service and Nativity at St Saviour’s Church, showcasing their musical and storytelling talents in a meaningful celebration of Christmas.

Finally, Years 1 to 6 had a fantastic outing to the Floral Pavilion to watch the pantomime The Return of Captain Hook. The performance was filled with laughter, adventure, and plenty of audience participation, making it a highlight of the term.

Christmas at Prenton Prep truly captures the spirit of the season, bringing our community together in celebration and joy. We look forward to many more festive memories next year!
